Connect to Wi-Fi
To connect to eduroam Wi-Fi:
- Go to the Wi-Fi settings on your device and select 'eduroam'
- When prompted for a username, enter your university username@nottingham.edu.cn
- Enter your university password
*If you have recently changed your password, forget the eduroam network on your device then reconnect.
Connecting a specific device
Please select the operating system of your device. If your operating system is not listed below, use the configuration assistance tool to connect your device.
Android
1.Select 'eduroam' from the list of available wireless networks.
2.Set parameter like below:
- EAP method: PEAP
- Phase-2 authentication: None or MSCHAPv2
- and CA certificate: unspecified or Do not validate
- Input identity: username@nottingham.edu.cn
- Anonymous identity: keep blank
- Input your university password
Apple iOS
1.Select 'eduroam' from the list of available wireless networks.
2.Input your username@nottingham.edu.cn and password and click 'Join'
3.If certificate promot, click 'Trust'
Windows
1. Select the Network icon on the taskbar to open quick settings.
2. On the Wi-Fi quick setting, select Manage Wi-Fi connections
3. Click eduroam > Connect
4. Input UNNC credential (username@nottingham.edu.cn) and password to login
Apple macOS
1. Click "eduroam" under wifi icon in the top right corner of the screen.
2. Please connect eduroam with your username@nottingham.edu.cn and password.
3. If Verify certificate prompt, click 'Continue'
I want to use eduroam at another institution
Students, staff and associates can use eduroam Wi-Fi at other locations. Check which institutions use eduroam:
