Under the hot summer sun, Zhejiang Chinese Medicine University and the University of Nottingham Ningbo embarked on an extraordinary two-week journey to jointly launch the "2024 All-English Teaching Teacher Professional Development Project".On August 25, with the completion ceremony, this period of exploration and growth came to a perfect end.

On August 10th, the project officially set sail at UNNC. At the opening ceremony, the teachers embarked on this journey of knowledge and skills together with high expectations and passion. From the awakening of "language awareness" to the in-depth exploration of "all-English teaching principles", every class is like a bright star, lighting up the educational dream in the hearts of teachers.

In the face of the challenges brought by teaching in English, the teachers have shown extraordinary courage and determination. From "The development of cross-cultural competence" to "Presentation Skills" to the in-depth discussion of "Constructivism and active learning", each class is a spiritual touch and a collision of wisdom.In particular, the flexible arrangement of online courses, such as the discussion of topics such as "teaching strategies and effective classroom characteristics", allows teachers to explore the infinite possibilities of education across the limitations of time and space.

Combine knowledge with local teaching practice

In the second half of the project, teachers will closely combine their knowledge with local teaching practice. Through the in-depth analysis of "Case Study: Observation and Analysis" and the practical exercise of "Using digital technology to teach large classes", the teachers not only improved their teaching skills, but also made a breakthrough in the topic of "localization of all-English teaching in China".The "Key to Success: Coaching" course provides teachers with a more humane teaching perspective, so that education is full of temperature and power.

Reflection and prospect

On August 24-25, the project came to an end. In the "Reflective teaching" and "Teaching in English" and other links, teachers have shared their learning experience and teaching sentiment, mutual inspiration, common progress.And the discussion of "differentiated learning" and the holding of the closing ceremony is a successful end to this journey. Teachers have embarked on a new journey with full harvest and infinite longing for the future.
