Transcripts and Letters
Current students or UNNC alumni of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught programmes may request following documents from Academic Services Office.
Standard Document Type
Provisional Transcript
Provisional Transcript can be requested if you are a current student at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China and want to request proof of the results you have obtained so far. Provisional Transcripts include a list of modules you studied with marks.
Graduate/Leavers Transcript
Graduate Transcripts can be requested if you have graduated from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Graduate Transcripts can confirm your final degree classification, along with a list of modules you studied and the marks obtained.
Leavers Transcripts can be requested if you have withdrawn from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Leavers Transcripts (for those who left without graduating) include a list of the marks received while studying at UNNC.
Student Status Letter
During your time at the University, you may need to confirm your status as a current student at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. If you are a new student we cannot provide a letter until you officially registered at UNNC. A Student Status Letter will verify information held on your student record. The standard information includes:
Degree Confirmation Letter
Once you have graduated from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, you can request a letter to confirm your studies and verify your degree result. A Degree Confirmation Letter will confirm information held on your student record, which includes:
- your name, date of birth and student ID number
- your course details and start date
- your completion date
- your degree awarded and graduation/award date
If no degree was awarded a letter can be provided to confirm your period of study.
Request a Document
Most students can obtain or apply for academic-related documents via Self-service machines or Student E-document Application platform.
If you graduated or withdrew from the University before 2010, please contact Academic Services Office, UNNC to apply for your documents.
Self-service Machine (for Hardcopy In-person Collection):
Students on campus can collect academic-related documents including transcript and standard status letter from self-service machines instantly on-site.

Option #1 Use University IT account’s username (e.g. hnxyz1) and password
Option #2 Use P.R.C ID card (for mainland Chinese students only)

Student E-document Application Platform (for E-copy Collection & Delivery Service)
Students can download or apply for academic-related documents in e-version via Student E-document Application platform.
Delivery service to designated recipients can also be requested via this platform, with options of e-copy and hardcopy provided.

How to log in
Option #1 Login via UNNC Portal: Select Applications under Quick Access, you will find the Student E-document Application name card. |
Option #2 Login Student E-document Application via Account: Current students and alumni should select correct login channel.
- Current students can login using UNNC account (Single Sign-on).
- For alumni login, please click Identity Verification first to apply for a login account. Login information shall be sent to applicant’s registered email address within two working days.
