This event was organisedby the Prefabricated ConstructionTechnical Committeeof the Ningbo Construction Industry Association, co-hosted by Ningbo Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. and the Department of Civil Engineering at UNNC. The event received great support from the Ningbo Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau. The aim of the competition is to stimulate the innovative and creative potential of young practitioners and cultivate innovative young talents in the construction industry.

This year, the competition focuses on current industrial development trends such as intelligence, digitalisation, and green and low-carbon transformation. It attracted 28 teams from 11 companies and universities to participate. After fierce competition in the preliminary round, a total of 16 works were shortlisted for the finals, which cover various fields such as construction engineering, construction management, information technology, and new materials. One first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and several outstanding prizes were finally awarded to participants, including one team from the UNNC.
