2019 Careers and Employability Report

Over 16,000 graduates of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China are now thriving around the world.

In the 2018/19 academic year, there are 1,955 high-quality graduates in total, with bachelor’s, master's and doctoral students accounting for 79.5%, 17.7% and 2.7% respectively. The three cohorts of graduates all achieved high employment rates after six months following graduation, reaching 96.5%, 97.6% and 100.0%, respectively.

84.3% of bachelor’s degree graduates chose to continue their studies, and among them, 58% were admitted into the world’s top 50 universities. The average monthly salary (before tax) of employed bachelor’s degree graduates reached 8889.8 RMB, largely exceeding the national average.

In 2019, there are 216 graduates from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and about 40 overseas countries. Around 1/3 of them chose to stay in China either for further education or employment.

There are 24 alumni chapters so far spread across the world, including London, New York, southern California, Melbourne, Sydney, Toronto, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
