I am a TEFL-Q qualified educator specialised in teaching academic literacies and managing assessment-related projects.

I joined UNNC in February 2018. Before that, I had spent my teaching career in various European countries, including the UK, where I taught EAP on pre-sessional programs at the University of Newcastle, the University of Edinburgh and Durham University. Apart from helping students develop their academic skills, I also have extensive experience teaching various exam classes (including IELTS) and Business English.

I pride myself on taking a friendly student-centred approach to teaching, exercising adaptive leadership, and ensuring rigorous quality assurance standards are maintained when developing and delivering different forms of assessment in the HE context.

In my spare time, I do martial arts (Brazilian jiu-jitsu), learn foreign languages and read widely about science, philosophy and psychology.
