Biography
Prior to joining UNNC I worked for two years at the Perse School in Suzhou as the Head of EAL, EFL, Business Studies, Media Studies, University and Careers Guidance, and also led on Professional Development initiatives at the institution. During this time, I also served as an external examiner for the University of Nottingham. Before this I spent a decade working at Xi’an Jiao Tong-Liverpool University in a wide variety of institutional and school level roles, with my last appointment being the Head of Division within the School of Languages for the Entrepreneurial College in Taicang. I also spent four years at Soochow University.
Teaching
Since joining UNNC in July of 2023 I have worked on the summer Postgraduate Pre-sessional Programmes and am now teaching on the International Pathways Course.
