Professor Hing Kai Chan Attended and Delivered a Speech at The 7th China-UK Intellectual Property Symposium

Recently, The 7th China-UK Intellectual Property Symposium was successfully held in Beijing, attended by more than 160 representatives from relevant IP government departments, academia and industry of the two countries.

Wenhui Hu, the deputy director of China Nation Intellectual Property Administration, pointed out that the Chinese government has always attached great importance to intellectual property work, and the UK is one of China's most important partners in the field of intellectual property. The two bureaus have carried out a series of fruitful cooperation, which has brought tangible benefits to domestic industries and innovators. It is expected that both sides will work together to push the cooperation to a new level in the future, so that the cooperation achievements will benefit more IP users and better serve the scientific and technological innovation and economic development of the two countries.

As a representative of Nottingham Ningbo, Professor Chan shared the support and cases of the University of Nottingham on the transformation of intellectual property rights, and showed the scientific research achievements of the research team. Finally, Professor Chan said, "I look forward to further deepening intellectual property exchanges between China and the UK in the future."
