Programme overview
The Nottingham University Business School China Summer Programme International is an exclusive, immersive educational experience crafted for students, typically conducted during the winter and summer breaks. The programme offers students a unique chance to broaden their international horizons, bolster their business expertise, and cultivate essential cross-cultural communication skills.
Leveraging a dynamic array of teaching approaches—including insightful lectures delivered by our distinguished faculty, interactive workshops, in-depth case studies, practice-oriented simulations, and team-driven essay projects—participants will acquire hands-on expertise that positions them at the forefront of academic and professional excellence.
The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to encompass a comprehensive selection of subjects, including but not limited to business, finance, economics, marketing, and management. Participants have the flexibility to enrol in one to two modules per session, tailoring their learning journey to their individual interests and career aspirations.

Age and Health Requirements
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and in good physical and mental health.
Language Proficiency Requirements
If your native language is English, or if you are studying in an English-medium programme at an approved institution, you may be exempt from providing proof of English language proficiency.
If your first language is not English or you are not studying in the English medium (from an approved institution), you are required to provide evidence of your proficiency in English. The minimum requirements for our courses are:
- IELTS 6.5 no less than 6.0 in any element;
- PTE Academic 71 (minimum 65);
- TOEFL (IBT) 90 (minimum 19 in Writing and Listening, 20 in Reading and 22 in Speaking).

Additional Incentive Policies
Group Registration Discount: For groups of 5 to 8 people registering together for this programme, a group discount will apply. Each member of the group will receive a fee reduction of 1,000 RMB.

What are the application requirements for the programme?
Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age, in good physical and mental health, and satisfy the programme's academic prerequisites. For further details, please consult the specific programme information.
When is the application deadline for the programme?
The deadline to apply is two weeks before the programme commences. Please ensure to submit your application within this timeframe.
Can the modules within the programme be credited?
Credit transfer must be confirmed in accordance with the policies of the student’s home institution. If the home institution recognises the credits earned, the student may proceed with credit transfer.
2. Module-related
What is the format of the modules?
Modules are conducted in-person. For detailed information on module logistics, please refer to the module syllabus.
Will a transcript be provided?
Upon successful completion of the programme, students will receive a module syllabus, a certificate of completion, and an official academic transcript.
How long after the programme concludes will I receive the transcript?
Students will receive the electronic transcript at their registered email address approximately two weeks after the conclusion of the programme.

When can I take advantage of the early bird price?
Students must complete payment before the early bird discount deadline in order to qualify for this offer.
How do I make the payment for the programme?
Payment instructions will accompany the offer letter. Payments can be made via bank transfer or WeChat to the official account of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China.
4. Campus-related
Does the programme provide a student ID card?
Students participating in the programme will be issued a student ID card, which can be used for access to campus facilities such as the cafeteria, accommodation, library, and sports facilities.
Can campus facilities be used during the programme?
Students may use all campus facilities during the programme, including but not limited to the library, gymnasium, basketball courts, and tennis courts.
Is on-campus accommodation available?
On-campus accommodation is available. Students will be housed at the Boya International Exchange Centre (LA Hotel) on campus. Information regarding the accommodation application period will be communicated via email closer to the programme's start date. Approximately 200 beds are available in total.
Can I stay off-campus?
Students have the option to arrange off-campus accommodation independently. However, students choosing this option are responsible for their daily commute and their own safety while off-campus.
