十月2023 19 - 十月2023 20 The Fifth FRSC Forum on Global Challenges and Chemistry Solutions University of Nottingham Ningbo China The world is undergoing unprecedented change. With rising populations, and the realities of climate change, our fragile environment and resources relating to energy, food, and water are being stretched beyond their limits. Mitigation of these challenges will rely on adopting sustainable development, which means we need to advance fundamental scientific knowledge, support excellence in chemical science research and maximise the number of future breakthroughs. The Royal Society of Chemistry is committed to identify priority areas and opportunities for the chemical sciences and contribute their full potential to tackling the major global challenges of today and in the future. We endeavour to foster new interdisciplinary research networks by working in partnership with professional bodies, academics, and industries across the world, that can make discoveries and innovation happen. We are a catalyst for the chemistry that enriches our world by providing technological and sustainable solutions.
