We are excited to invite you to participate in the UNNC Doctoral Symposium: Collaborative Research & Industry-Academia Partnerships, taking place on 27-29 November 2025! This event is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your research, enhance your communication skills, and connect with peers and industry professionals.

This year, we’re introducing a new interactive project competition, alongside keynote speeches, poster presentations, and parallel sessions. Whether you are presenting your work, engaging in dynamic discussions, or networking with experts, this symposium is designed to promote innovation and collaboration.

  1. Poster Presentation – Digital document in A1 portrait format (80cm x 120cm; template attached).
  2. Oral Presentation – 20 minutes (15 mins presentation + 5 mins Q&A).
  3. Interactive Project Competition – Showcase your research through creative, hands-on demonstrations or prototypes (details below).

Rewards & Recognition:

  • Certificate of Participation for all presenters.
  • Award Certificates for outstanding contributions.
  • Prize:
    • Oral presentation: including Best Presentations Awards and Runner-ups.
    • Poster presentation: including Best Poster Presentations and People’s Choice.

  • Sustainable Development and Technologies.
  • Green Chemicals.
  • Managerial Advancement and Financial Economics.
  • Global Connectivity, Communication and Education.
  • Life Sciences and Health.

New: Interactive Project Competition

This year, we encourage you to present your research in an engaging, interactive format—such as prototypes, demos, or multimedia displays. These interactive presentations offer practical and tangible proof of your research, giving you a chance to showcase your working systems, prototypes, or innovative concepts. This is a great way to demonstrate the real-world impact of your work and engage with a broader audience.

Accommodation

The Graduate School will provide two nights of accommodation during the conference for UNNC DTP students who are registered for the presentations and are traveling to Ningbo. The accommodation will be tentatively arranged at the on-campus LA Hotel. Accommodation for non-UNNC participants can be arranged at cost.
