On 27 July, UNNC - CRRC Hangzhou Talent Training Programme was successfully concluded in Hangzhou. CRRC Hangzhou is a strategic cooperation project signed by CRRC and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. Invested and established by CRRC Nanjing Puzhen and Zhejiang Economic Construction Investment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Zhejiang Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd., the project is committed to building an industrial cluster for domestic rail transit equipment with market advantages. In the opening ceremony, Xu Fenglin, General Manager of CRRC Hangzhou, said that with the advent of the digital economy era, there is an urgency to optimise the knowledge structure of the company's middle and senior managers and promote the process of the company's strategic goals.

Professor Martin Liu, Dean of NUBS China and Professor of Marketing and Innovation, pointed out the importance of strategy and the dilemma of the digital transformation of enterprises by focusing on the theme of how digital transformation can change the company's strategy and competitive landscape, bringing about a new perspective on strategic understanding.

Relying on the international education and resources of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), this training programme focuses on the topics of "corporate strategy", "diversification and integration strategy", "strategy implementation and evaluation" and "strategic change management". Dr Zhijing Zhu, Assistant Professor in International Business and Strategy, served as the course manager, helping trainees explore the cutting-edge theories of corporate strategy and enhancing their global vision. The training programme also enables them to use strategic approaches and tools to analyse how CRRC can expand and continue its competitive advantages in an increasingly complex, uncertain, and accelerating domestic and global environment.

"As an employee of CRRC, I am honoured to participate in this training programme. Active learning is the tradition and habit of a CRRCer. The integration of the wisdom of a world-class university and enterprise will benefit CRRC greatly," said trainee Dai Xuejun at the graduation ceremony.

In recent years, UNNC has always remained close to industry leaders by actively exploring the talent needs and management strategies of large enterprises and contributing to developing Chinese enterprises into world-class companies and cultivating world-class business leaders.
