Recently, led by a team of Mandarin tutors from FHSS’s Language Centre, more than ten international students from Indonesia and South Korea joined a one-day trip to Tianyi Pavilion with their Chinese language partners. Together, they savored the charm of the earliest surviving private library in China. It was not only an immersive Chinese learning trip, but also a cultural experience. After arriving at Tianyi Pavilion, they could further experience its unique charm by searching for beautiful Chinese characters on stone monuments and interacting with the documents and visitors.
