Overview: In this workshop, participants will learn how to get their first publications. The speaker will provide tips for each stage of the publication process, including how to generate an interesting research idea, how to form a research team, what to do during the research process, and how to handle referee reports. Throughout the workshop, the speaker will share insights drawn from his own research experiences. The goal is to help participants gain valuable tips for their research journey and overcome common challenges in the publication process.
Dr. Haofei Zhang is an associate professor at the School of Statistics and Data Science, Ningbo University of Technology. Prior to this, he served as an assistant professor at the School of Finance, Nankai University. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto. His research focuses on corporate finance, international finance, political finance, and related areas. He has published in top international research journals, such as the International Review of Financial Analysis, International Review of Economics and Finance, International Review of Finance, and Economics Letters, among others. Haofei is currently leading a research project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
