On 27 May 2025, the University of Nottingham Ningbo China Education Foundation successfully convened the third board meeting of its Fifth Council. Chairman Sam Shen, Vice Chairman Alain Chong, Board Members Jonathan Garibaldi and Jie Lv, Secretary General Lei He, and Supervisor Rebecca Jin attended the meeting. Board Member Andy Xia was represented by a colleague.

The board reviewed and approved the foundation’s 2024 annual report and audit report, summarising last year’s achievements, and the 2025 work plan, outlining future initiatives. The board also viewed the presentations of the Li Dak Sam Innovation Fellowship Fund and the Ingenuity Lab projects.

Looking ahead to 2025, the foundation remains committed to advancing its mission across education, research and social services, while continuing to develop globally-minded talent and support philanthropic initiatives.
