Dr Fangfang Zhu and Prof. Magnus Larson from Lund University (Sweden) have secured the Joint China-Sweden Mobility grant of 250,000 RMB on China side, which is funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education (STINT). The title of the project is "Hydrodynamics and sediment transport in the swash zone", and the project is from January 2018 to December 2020. Prof. Larson is one of the most prestigious scientists in the area of coastal sciences, and Dr Zhu will build close collaboration partnership with Prof. Larson to enhance their research in the swash zone. This project also aims to establish an exchange programme between University of Nottingham Ningbo China and Lund University for undergraduate students in Civil Engineering.
