Dear UNNC postgraduate researchers,

We are delighted to invite you to participate in the 2026 Ningbo Postgraduate Academic Festival (宁波研究生学术节)

This annual event is an exceptional opportunity to showcase your research, exchange ideas, connect with fellow research students and foster collaborations across disciplines!

The paper submission period is from today to 8 June, and we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this municipal-level platform.

In previous years, we have witnessed UNNC participants wining prizes and earning recognitions at different sessions!

Background

The Ningbo Association of Science and Technology (NAST, 宁波科学技术协会) and Ningbo Social Science Association (NSSA, 宁波市社会科学界联合会) have been jointly supporting Postgraduate Academic Festival, with Ningbo University coordinating and facilitating the whole event, you will find other co-organisers and their parallel session themes via the link above.

This year, 14 themed sessions will be hosted, as UNNC, we will host 1 session in English: “Global Horizons in the AI Era: Economy, Education and Intercultural Communication”.

Some key requirements and procedures

• Papers that are published before 9th June, 2026 will not be accepted.
• The participant must be the first author.
• All submitted papers will be reviewed by the experts in relevant research areas, and those whose papers are shortlisted will be invited to present at the designated session.
• Sessions are likely to be hosted in September 2026.
• Please be advised that if you submit papers to a session in other university/institution, the language of communication for the whole event (from submission to defense) will be Chinese.
• The deadline for submission is 8 June, please find detailed guidance to the online submission platform via the link in the beginning of this email.
