Jie Zeng, a Finance, Accounting and Management graduate of Nottingham University Business School China, shares his pursuits of good relationships and challenging work. He is very proud of his comfortable relationships, being filial to parents, and getting along well with his friends and colleagues. He said these were partly attributed to the empathy he has developed at UNNC. UNNC has diverse students, each with unique personalities and attitudes. Through working and getting along with them, Jie has deepened his understanding of "respect". As for work, Jie constantly pursues challenges and self-breakthrough. Although he holds the position of Financial Manager of CSR Sifang Hong Kong Co. Ltd., he needs to cover a wide range of areas including remuneration, tax planning, legislation, investment and financing, trains’ maintenance, safety production, etc. Therefore, this position requires him to constantly learn fast. Jie said he was quite enjoying the learning process and not only often went to shops to observe but consulted engineers for professional knowledge as well. In a nutshell, Jie is building his own stability and happiness within his ‘comfortable’ relationships and ‘uncomfortable’ working pace.
