For the first time, we have been undergoing an independent review of our Bachelor Degree programme, BEng Architectural Environment Engineering (AEE), by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). This review takes place every five years, as part of the reaccreditation process, and leading to the international and professional recognition of the quality of the programme we offer at UNNC.
In September 2019, a panel of experts has visited us, and met with our staff and students. This was a very intensive two days panel visit to UNNC. We are very pleased to confirm the review went as perfect as we planned, and our AEE course is re-accredited for another 5 years. I believe this is a major milestone for the course and the department particularly that this is the first time we have done this independently.

We would like to express our thanks to those involved and made this happen smoothly, particularly our student body, student reps, AEE staff in the ABE department, our industry partners, the alumni, the faculty technicians, and the senior management at the university and faculty levels. We specially thank our colleagues in the Faculty Office for helping with the preparation work.

We look forward to more progress and success in ABE.
