Mr. Hu Juewen, an International Business Management graduate of Nottingham University Business School China (NUBS China) in 2009, one of the founders of SIFE UNNC (now renamed as “Enactus”) shared us his story of keeping innovating and moving forward, driven by "dissatisfaction". He joined UNNC as the pioneer students in the first few years and was originally not satisfied with not having a real inclusive platform for UNNCers to develop. Therefore, cooperating with his Chinese classmates, he set up UNNC SIFE (short for, Student in Free Enterprise, a world-renown student organization) Team during the term of exchanging to the UK Campus. The team also attracted a great many of international students. The subsequent remarkable achievements and outstanding projects of SIFE UNNC even have been handed down to the present time, which reflected this successful attempt. Recalling the past, he said those achievements should be owned by UNNC. "The open and inclusive atmosphere here allows every student to try, to create and to realize. This has shaped my attitude towards life.” After graduation, he adheres to his principle of "not easily satisfied". After having worked for several world-renowned companies, Juewen still decided to stick to his path of innovation and started his own business in 2014 by setting up the company named ‘Olympus Hedge Fund Investments’ in order to make his own contribution to the financial industry filled with opportunities but also cutthroat competitions.
