From 27 Oct to 1 Nov, NCI Ningbo Branch welcomed our old friends - delegates of Carlton Le Willows Academy.          

Senior Manager Mr Feng Zhu and PE Teacher Mr Jinhua Fang represented the PE Department welcomed the delegates and organized an exercise between UNNC EXCEL Table Tennis Team and Carlton Le Willows Academy.Director of PE Department of Wanli University Ms Shouyan Liu provided one to one tutorial to young players.The delegates visited UNNC led by UNNC EXCEL Table Tennis Team. Provost Professor Chris Rudd delivered a welcome speech and exchanged gifts with the Head Teacher Mr Craig Weaver at the welcome banquet.

Carlton Le Willows Academy is one of the four teenagers’ table tennis bases in England. It was the third time for the delegates to visit China and UNNC. The trip aimed to develop the young players’ table tennis skills and Chinese language proficiency simultaneously. Therefore, besides playing table tennis with Chinese young players in universities, high schools and professional organizations, the delegates would also take 4 days’ Mandarin class with NCI Ningbo Branch.

During their visit in Ningbo and Beijing, the delegates would also have chances to experience Chinese cuisine, arts and history.
