Ms. Li Ying studied Finance, Accounting and Management at Nottingham University Business School China (NUBS China), before she obtained her Master's Degree from Lubin School of Business. Now working at PwC New York office, Ying said it is the people she met at UNNC that had inspired her to keep trying and never set limits to her own growth. As for life in the US, Ying admitted to being culturally shocked when she first came, about how practical-minded Americans are while being optimistic about the struggles of life. However, after spending more time in the US, she gradually come to the realization that people are essentially the same, execpt for their diverse cultural backgrounds that make them behave differently. For herself, Ying seeks  a sense of belonging by appreciating the Chinese culture. At work, Ying has met many interesting people through a number of internships in the United States: once she discovered that a colleagure with a masculine appearance turned out to have excellent tastes for arts and music. Such experiences gave her insights into the nature of people. Ying enjoys her current job working with her teammates and clients, believing that every step she takes now will be part of her best plan for future. Best wishes to Li Ying!
