The University of Nottingham Ningbo China has made a good performance this year. There are 10 applications approved, and the total funding reaches RMB 3.71 million.

Among them, Dr Jian Yang, Associate Professor in Dynamics and Control; Dr Bencan Tang, Associate Professor in Chemistry; Dr Haonan Li, Associate Professor in Advanced & Intelligent Manufacturing have been awarded the General Programme from National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Dr Shu Liu from the New Materials Institute received the Young Scientist Fund from NSFC.

FoSE always pay high attention to the development of faculty research and FoSE also provide as much as support for academic staff to conduct their research.

In recent years, the Faculty has attached great importance to the development of disciplines, including talent introduction and key lab construction, and achieved a series of phased results. The NSFC fund will support our scientists to conduct research in pioneering fields. The Faculty is also committed to power the local development with its international research collaboration and trans-disciplinary research innovation.
