Ms. Shi Lei (Katrina) is a graduate of Nottingham University Business School China (NUBS China) with bachelor degree of International Business with Communications Studies. She recently quit her job at Accenture UK and returned home to further develop her career. She shared with us her experience of realizing self-awareness and the "real freedom" at UNNC, which continuously motivate her even after graduation. During her study at UNNC, she assessed her skills through academic performances, discovered her advantages in speech and communication via diverse extracurricular activities, and found her passion for culture in the one-and-a-half-month volunteering experience in Turkey. Through this way, she gradually made up a map of self-recognition. Then she matched those strengths with the consulting industry. After learning about the talent requirements in this field, she began to reflect on and improve herself. She concluded this model as "From inside to outside to inside" and said UNNC's platforms and opportunities played an important role in this process. Additionally, she said UNNC inspired her to firmly stick to her own choices, "It doesn't mean to be blindly confident, but based on clear self-awareness and self assurance." That's also the reason why Lei experienced little hesitation whether when decided to transfer from FAM (Finance Accounting and Management) to IBC (International Business with Communications) or return to China this time. With such confidence and passion, she could be a star in the future. Best wishes to Shi Lei!
