The 6th VSIP and the 7th ICVRT were successfully held at UNNC

On 24 November, the 6th International Conference on Video, Signal, and Image Processing (VSIP 2024) and the International Conference on Virtual Reality Technology (ICVRT 2024) were successfully held at UNNC. The conference was conducted in a hybrid format, attracting over 300 top scholars and researchers from around the globe. It covered cutting-edge topics in various fields such as video processing, signal analysis, and virtual reality, showcasing the latest research findings and technological innovations, which received widespread acclaim from participants.
On the opening ceremony, Dr Juan Wang, Associate Dean for Research and Knowledge Exchange, delivered a welcome speech, emphasizing the significant role of the conference in promoting international academic exchange and technological innovation. Following this, Professor Xiangjian He, the conference chair, stated in his opening address that the event not only showcased innovative achievements in the current technological field but also provided valuable references for future research directions.
The conference invited several internationally renowned scholars to give keynote speeches, including Professor Changwen Chen from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Professor Yulin Wang from Wuhan University, Professor Laurent Cohen from Université Paris-Dauphine, and Professor Robert Minasian from the University of Sydney. They shared the latest research findings in the fields of visual computing, integrated photonic signal processing, and medical image analysis, sparking lively discussions.
The conference featured multiple parallel sessions that delved into topics such as image processing, virtual reality, and machine learning.
