Professor Tao Wu, Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering, Ms Bao Weihong, Dean of Ningbo Scientific Research and Design Institute of Environmental Protection presented the signing ceremony this afternoon. The MOU signed aims to boost research collaborations, talent training program and provides more environmental practice opportunities for FoSE undergraduate students.

Professor Tao Wu emphasised the research achievement Faculty of Science and Engineering obtained in the past years. He believes both parties will be able to exploit the full advantage in talents and facilities, deepen the collaboration of talent cultivation and technology research and development and achieve win-win situation.

Bao Weihong said that Ningbo Scientific Research and Design Institute of Environmental Protection (IEP) is an excellent comprehensive research and development unit in Zhejiang Province, which has rich experience in various kinds of environmental protection research, key pollution source control research, engineering design and environmental impact assessment projects. "In the upcoming 5 years, we are going to carry out strategic cooperation, especially in the area of Undergraduate Internship Base and Environmental Protection Research," she added, "Wish we could make full use of this platform to born fruitful results."
