Zhouhao Ye, an undergraduate in Finance, Accounting and Management at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), has secured full-time offers from two of the world’s leading accounting firms—EY and Deloitte. He attributes this achievement to his extensive hands-on experience in finance and the soft skills he developed during his time at UNNC.
In his second year, through the Nottingham Advantage Award (NAA) programme’s student consulting project, Ye participated in his supervisor’s business consulting project for a Dutch smart-technology company. This project ignited his passion for consulting and led to internships at Kearney and EY China, where he honed his professional skills and gained valuable practical experience.
Beyond internships, Ye was part of UNNC’s representative team that won the 13th IMA Student Case Competition, outperforming 950 university teams nationwide. This historic victory not only solidified his technical expertise but also deepened his industry insights.
After accepting EY’s offer late last year, Ye joined a foreign bank in January as a financial analyst intern. He explains, “A career is a continuous learning journey; even with a full-time offer in hand, I continue to pursue new tools and experiences to expand my potential.” Leveraging this banking experience, he successfully secured a financial consulting offer from Deloitte.
