The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) has recently released the 2007–2025 Alumni Impact Report. Covering nearly 17,000 alumni, the survey provides a systematic and comprehensive overview of the achievements of more than ten thousand students nurtured by China’s first Sino-foreign cooperative university over the past 21 years.

According to the report, the average age of UNNC alumni is under 30, with an average annual salary approaching 300,000 RMB. Over 15 years after graduation, salaries have tripled, with a ten-year compound annual growth rate exceeding 8%, while the proportion of alumni earning over 1 million RMB has reached 15%.

In terms of employment, UNNC graduates are highly regarded by globally renowned companies. Nearly 75% work for Fortune Global 500, China 500, or leading industry enterprises, with finance, manufacturing, and information technology as the primary sectors.

UNNC alumni not only excel in career progression but also demonstrate a strong global presence. They have established footprints in 34 countries and regions, including major economies such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore. Domestically, more than 80% are concentrated in key economic regions, including the Yangtze River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and the Pearl River Delta.

Over 4% of alumni have chosen to start their own businesses. Among these enterprises, approximately 27% generate annual revenues of more than 10 million RMB, and over 8% exceed 100 million RMB, creating an average of 57 jobs per company.

Beyond career and entrepreneurial achievements, UNNC alumni actively contribute to society and demonstrate a strong sense of social responsibility. More than 97% have participated in or led charitable activities, while over half are involved in education support projects. One in five alumni provides internships or career development resources to current students.

UNNC alumni display a high degree of loyalty and appreciation towards their alma mater. The survey shows that over 95% value the university’s teaching quality, campus culture, and career support, while more than 85% believe UNNC has helped to foster their global outlook and sense of social responsibility.
