UNNC sets new record in latest Highly Cited Chinese Researchers list

Recently, Elsevier officially released the 2024 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers list. Twelve academics from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), spanning nine disciplines, and representing three faculties as well as the China Beacons Institute, were included in the ranking. The listed scholars achieved a historic high in the range of disciplines covered.

Based on Elsevier’s citation and index database Scopus, the list included 6,388 of the most influential Chinese scholars across various disciplines worldwide.

In the discipline of Business Administration, three UNNC academics were recognised, followed by Management Science and Engineering, with two scholars listed. In this field, Professor Alain Chong has been included on the list for nine consecutive years since 2016.
