Before graduation, Sun Chenhao, a Financial Management student at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), had already secured nine job offers from leading companies including Procter & Gamble, ByteDance, JD.com and Coach, alongside postgraduate offers from top global universities such as University College London, New York University and the University of Melbourne.
Rather than focusing solely on academics, Sun credits his success to the diverse opportunities available at UNNC. Alongside his studies, he became a key bilingual presenter for university events, completed a marketing internship at L’Oréal China, studied abroad at the University of New South Wales, and earned an internationally recognised Les Mills fitness instructor qualification.
“UNNC helped me become a more confident, capable and independent person,” Sun said. “I believe a good university should broaden students’ horizons and encourage them to explore their full potential.”
Through UNNC’s international learning environment, industry connections, exchange programmes and extensive extracurricular opportunities, Sun developed strong communication, leadership and intercultural skills — qualities that helped him stand out to both employers and world-leading universities.
His story reflects UNNC’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded graduates with global perspectives, practical experience and the confidence to pursue ambitious futures.
