The 413th Shuangqing Forum of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) was successfully held at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) from 26 to 27 May. The theme of this forum was “The International Cooperation Strategy and Implementation Path of the NSFC Fund in the New Era”.
As a high-level strategic academic forum, the Shuangqing Forum brings together worldwide top scholars to address China’s strategic needs and inform policy-making for the country's basic research advancement. Over 40 experts from universities and research institutions nationwide, alongside NSFC officials and staff, participated in the forum.
As the host institution, UNNC leverages its unique global-local advantages to facilitate international collaboration. The university has established high-level international innovation platforms in key areas such as intelligent manufacturing, green chemicals and energy, life sciences and healthcare, while maintaining partnerships with over 4,000 organisations across 120 countries and regions. Building on this forum, UNNC will continue to deepen international scientific cooperation to drive technological innovation.
