The Wellbeing Service consists of the Counselling Service, the Disability Support Service and Health Promotion.
The Clinic is located in the Portland Building, Room 113. It provides primary healthcare services to all students and staff members, promotes high standards of health and wellbeing, and offers an expanded range of services. Main services include:
- emergency medical aid for all episodes of illness & injury
- medication administration
- medical referral
- other health/medical services as needed

Students may encounter problems during their time at the University and the support network is here to help. Whether it is academic or personal difficulty, students can directly approach staff members to ask for support. On the other hand, staff are taking proactive steps to provide students with a peaceful and resourceful environment.
Senior Tutors Network
Schools and departments have an appointed senior tutor whose role is to offer pastoral support to students in difficulty, together with
other key student service providers, and to be a central point of contact for extenuating circumstances applications.

Personal tutors are the first point of contact for students in the new, culturally challenging environment and to help them be a part of the UNNC community. Students may seek help directly from their personal tutors for any social or psychological issues.

Student Affairs Tutors
Student Affairs Tutors (SAT) give student-centred developmental supports in non-academic aspects. It aims to address the confusions within the further developments of students’ extracurricular activities, as well as any social and psychological needs.

Dignity at Ningbo Network
Dignity at Ningbo Network (DANN) is a peer-based advisory body established to support the provision and implementation of the Dignity Policy. All members of the University have an important role in creating an environment where dignity and respect for others matters.

Hall Warden System
Hall wardens are responsible for the educational, social and cultural functions of a hall, for student welfare and discipline in a hall. Students may take problems directly to the warden or deputy warden. The telephone number for emergencies on international students accommodation is 157-5780-5873.
Sports and Recreation
Tri Campus Games
Each year students from across The University of Nottingham’s three campuses – the UK, China and Malaysia – come together for the Tri Campus Games, a week-long festival of sport.
Unique among universities, the Games allow students to sample international sporting competition while making contacts with peers from across the globe and experiencing life at a different University campus.
