Biography

Chairman and Global CEO – GLOBAL WOMEN CONNECT (GWC)

Dr Polly Ng is a passionate firm believer of people, diversity and collaboration for value creation and sustainability. She served as a global and regional business leader for Fortune 500 MNCs and local Chinese companies with full P&L responsibility across different countries in various IT and digital technology sectors for over 25 years.

Currently, Polly leads BWSea Technology Group to develop AI technologies and solutions for offshore aquaculture to make aquaculture simple and sustainable for human happiness. She is also the founder of GWC, a not-for-profit global platform for people to share, learn, inspire, and grow together with a mission to unleash the potential of women in different stages of life.

Besides GWC, she co-founded Hong Kong Youth Service Leader Award which is an NGO in Hong Kong SAR focusing on developing young talents to provide and lead social services to the community. She also serves as the national judge of the youth social entrepreneurship competition for Enactus China (www.enactus.org) and now E-YOUTH in China.

Dr Ng is awarded as the ‘Outstanding Woman Leader of the Year 2022’ by the Women Empowerment Council and the ‘ESG She Power Female Trailblazer of the Year 2024’ by The China Association for the Promotion of Investment in China. She is also appointed as the adjunct professor for The Healthcare Big Data Research Center (A government funded research center in Qingdao University) in 2022. Currently she is nominated to be the Honorary Fellow by the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Polly holds a PhD degree with the University of Nottingham UK, a global EMBA degree (in the Dean’s list) and a BBA degree with the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also a frequent guest speaker for the universities.
