Biography
I have taught in six different countries around the world. Apart from China and the UK, I have also worked in Croatia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and South Korea. Ningbo is now the fourth Chinese city that I have lived and worked in. Previously, I taught in Guangzhou, Dalian and Suzhou. In addition to teaching EAP for Business, Science, Mathematics and Art & Design, I have considerable experience in classroom materials design.
Teaching is my second career. From 1983 to 1993, I worked as a graphic designer within the advertising industry in the UK. I continue to draw and paint as a hobby and have a particular interest in drawing portraits.
