Biography
Before joining the UNNC’s CELE in September 2023, Andrea taught EAP on Pre-Sessional courses in Edinburgh and has previously taught Academic English and English as a Foreign Language at schools and universities in the U.K., Austria and China for seven years. Prior to teaching, she completed her BA, MA and PhD degrees in English Language and Linguistics at the University of Huddersfield, graduating in 2016 with her doctorate.
She is a British Chinese born in Malaysia and a published writer with poetry, short stories and micro-fiction appearing in writing competition anthology books. She is also a holder of a Third Dan Black Belt in the Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do.
