Cambridge DELTA

I have a Master’s degree in English and the Cambridge DELTA (which I thought was one as tough as it was useful). I was born in Poland (that's why my name has such difficult spelling - but you can just call me Jack) but my home is in Brazil. I started teaching well before my students were born (yes, I am a very old man!) and I have been working as EAP Lecturer for over 15 years, most of it in China and in the UK but I also taught at universities in Cyprus and Poland before. I spent 6 years at UNNC between 2007 and 2013 and after that worked for some time in Shanghai and in London. Unfortunately, despite the long time spent in China I never learnt more than a few words of Mandarin. I like badminton, bowling and cycling and often play bridge, which is a card game quite popular in the UK. I’m also a football fan and often go to games, especially when Cruzeiro are playing on the other side of the scenic lake near my home.
