I have over 10 years experience working in China as an English language tutor. Most recently, I have worked for Coventry university in their Hainan branch in Collaboration with Communications University of China as an EAP Tutor. Here, I worked closely with colleagues from other universities in the Hainan Innovation Education Pilot Zone to deliver community-based seminars on the topic of AI in academic skills development. Before this, I worked at Dundee University's Changsha branch, which was in collaboration with Central South University in Hunan. Here, I worked closely with STEM subject-specialists to develop and deliver bespoke materials for engineering cohorts of students. Otherwise, I have worked as an English tutor in an international high school in Langfang, Hebei, and as an English teacher manager in training schools in Xi'an, Shaanxi.
