I have been teaching English since the late 1990s, specializing in EAP and ESP in universities across New Zealand, China and the UK. I rejoined UNNC this September, having previously worked here from 2008 to 2013. Outside of work, I enjoy running and hiking, and I’m considering getting a bike so I can explore Ningbo by cycling.

I'm particularly interested in learner autonomy and active learning. I'm also very curious about how learning technologies can enhance teaching and learning.
