Meeting the Conditions of Your Offer

Deferring Your Offer
We currently offer two intakes: autumn and spring. If your circumstances prevent you from joining the autumn intake, you may request a deferral to the spring intake. Deferrals to the next academic year are not permitted.
To request a deferral, please contact the PGR Admissions Team at PGR@nottingham.edu.cn. Ensure your email includes your full name, application ID, and reasons for the deferral. Deferral requests are only permitted if your offer has been updated to unconditional and must be submitted no later than the end of July.
If you have been awarded a scholarship, it will be withdrawn upon approval of your deferral request. However, you may reapply for the scholarship for the deferred entry, subject to availability.
Applying for Your Visa
If you need a student visa to study in China, you will receive a visa supporting document (i.e. the JW202 form) by email within two to three weeks of accepting an unconditional offer.
Registration Guide
Approximately six to eight weeks before the registration date, we will provide the Registration Guide to all confirmed applicants. The guide will include details about the registration process, fee payment, accommodation arrangement, and other essential information.
