About Postgraduate (Masters) Programme

Most of our master's degrees can also be studied on a part-time basis.

The University of Nottingham Ningbo China offer a one-year, full-time research course that gives you the opportunity to carry out research over one year of postgraduate study in the field of sustainable building technologies.

Entry Requirements

We welcome students from all around the world. In addition to academic qualitifications, if your first language is not English or your entry qualification was not obtained in the English medium (from an approved institution) you are required to provide evidence of your proficiency in English.

  • One recommendation letter
  • Academic transcripts and degree certificates (results so far, or completed)
  • English language test score report if applicable (e.g. IELTS)

Postgraduate Tuition Fees and Finance

Tuition fee for international students (excluding students from Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong) is 90,000 RMB per year. These include library membership, IT services and examinations. 

Tuition fee for students from Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong is 90,000 RMB per year. 

Text books: flat fee of 2,500 RMB per year. If your books do not total this at the end of each academic year, you will be refunded the difference.

Living costs: approximately 1,500 - 3,000 RMB per month for living expenses.

Accommodation: varies depending on the type of accommodation chosen.

Compulsory insurance: 1120 RMB per year for postgraduate international students.

Application Deadline:  31 May, 2018

Please note that applications can be made pending final results or during your final year of school/university education. Conditional offers will be made where appropriate and students will normally have until 15 July to provide their results.

The University will make exceptions for students studying qualifications where results are officially released after 15 July. These include the HKDSE, GCSE's, A-level results and others. If your results are released after 15 July.
