Mail room and printing centre in the Trent Building will be closed from 6-17 Feb. Reception in the Trent Building will also be closed and there will be no event support or moving service during the same period. However, cleaning services will continue but repair and maintenance services in teaching area will be suspended. There will be on-duty manager for emergency cases.

Sports Centre
· From Monday 1 February to Wednesday 10 February, we will operate reduced opening hours from 8am to 8pm.
· From Thursday 11 February to Wednesday 17 February, the Sports Centre will be closed. However, we will keep the athletics track and outdoor gym open 24/7, as well as move some football goals onto the grass pitch. We will also keep the outdoor basketball courts open from 8am to 6pm for users who are remaining on campus during the holidays. There will be no floodlighting, however, at either of these facilities.
· From Thursday 18 February, we will reopen as normal (7am to 10pm).
The Library
· From Monday 18 January to Sunday 24 January, we will operate from 8am to 10pm.
· From Monday 25 January to Sunday 7 February, we will operate reduced opening hours from 8:30am to 6:30pm.
· From Monday 8 Feb to Thursday 18 February, 24h Study (located in the south-west wing on the 1st floor) will remain open for study from 8:30am to 6:30pm each day. It can be accessed through the south entrance and exit of the Library building, close to the bridge connecting the teaching and living areas.
A kind reminder that
· All your library books will be automatically renewed to 22 February and will continue to auto-renew unless there is a request placed on the book.
· Kindles can be borrowed over the winter break.
· Loans requested over the winter break will not need to be returned.
· Inter-library loans of books are suspended until the start of next semester due to partner libraries’ winter vacation service arrangements.
· Many online resources and services can be accessed 24/7 through NUsearch. Please be sure to use the correct login method.
Teaching Area
· From Monday 18 January to Thursday 18 February, SAIC will be closed. It will be open again on Friday 19 February.
· From Wednesday 13 January to Thursday 4 February, all classrooms are closed, except self-learning rooms (including self-learning computer rooms) below, operating from 9am to 10pm.
· From Friday 5 February to Thursday 18 February, Lord Dearing Building, DH Lawrence Auditorium and New International Conference Centre will be closed and all classrooms will be closed, except PB 119 and PB 402 opening from 9am to 6pm.
· Please do not leave any personal belongings in any room or public area.
Living Area

· From Wednesday 20 January to Thursday 18 February, we will operate reduced opening hours from 10am - 3pm on Mondays and Thursdays only
· From Friday 19 February, we will reopen as normal (8:30am to 11:30am and 1:30pm-5:00pm).
