    UNNC initiates Disability Awareness Campaign

    On campus

Introduction:

International Day of People with Disabilities falls on the 3rd of December each year, with the theme of “The future is accessible for 2019”. “The future is accessible” means that we must all, together, look towards a future where the barriers which stand in people’s way no longer exist.  We envisage a future where people can access a building without using stairs; where a person can access a ramp to the beach or can get a job without fear of discrimination; or can access a mainstream classroom. We take this opportunity to initiate the Disability Awareness Campaign in UNNC to raise awareness of inclusive and diversity on campus.
