Entry requirements for applicants from Sweden at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level

Undergraduate level entry requirements

Preliminary year (year one)

Applicants from Sweden are normally not required to complete a foundation course.

Qualifying year (year two)

Students should hold the Avgångsbetyg / Slutbetyg från Gymnasieskola (previously Studentexamen) or Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate.

For competitive courses, you should have a high proportion of MVG grades plus MVG in relevant subjects. For less competitive courses you may be asked for an overall average mark of G.

We may also consider students from the Nordic Folk High Schools.

Students taking A levels or the IB should refer to our online international qualification sections.

Students taking APs or SATIIs should refer to entry requirements for the USA.

Postgraduate level entry requirements

A bachelor's degree from a recognised university. A typical GPA requirement is VG/B-C/4 in Bachelor's degree/Kandidatexamen/Yrkesexamen.
