Entry requirements for applicants from South Korea at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level

Undergraduate level entry requirements

Preliminary year (year one)

Students typically require grades of at least 80% or B in the High School Diploma from Specialised High Schools, plus 80% or grade B in relative subjects eg. Maths and Physics for the Engineering Foundation programme.

Qualifying year (year two)

Normally applicants from South Korea are required to successfully complete a Foundation Programme or one year of study at a university.

Typical minimum GPA requirements are above 80% or B or 3.0-3.5

Postgraduate level entry requirements

A bachelor's degree from a recognised university. Typical minimum GPA requirements are as follows:

  • 2.9 or 3.3 out of 4.0
  • 3.1 or 3.5 out of 4.3
  • 3.3 or 3.7 out of 4.5
