Entry requirements for applicants from Mongolia at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level

Undergraduate level entry requirements

Preliminary year (year one)

The Mongolia–Gerchilgee Certificate of Complete Secondary Education is accepted for entry to Year One programmes only.

Qualifying year (year two)

Students following the Mongolian national curriculum typically need to complete Year One. Applicants who have studied at an international school may be considered under standard international curriculum requirements.

Students taking A Levels or the IB should refer to our online international qualifications section.

Students taking APs or SATs should refer to the entry requirements for the USA.

Postgraduate level entry requirements

Applicants may be considered for master’s-level entry with a Specialist Diploma or a Master’s degree from a recognised institution, normally in a relevant field.

Entry requirements for qualifications from Mongolian universities vary depending on the institution attended and the specific programme applied for. Typical GPA requirements are:
