Entry requirements for applicants from Bhutan at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level

Undergraduate level entry requirements

Preliminary year (year one)

Students holding the Bhutan Higher Secondary Education Certificate (BHSEC) are required to start from Year One entry.

Qualifying year (year two)

Students with the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education should refer to our India requirements.

Postgraduate level entry requirements

Applicants should hold a Specialist Diploma or Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution, normally equivalent to a UK Upper Second Class (2:1). Please note that degrees awarded by the Royal University of Bhutan are not considered equivalent to a UK Bachelor’s degree.
