Entry requirements for applicants from Bangladesh at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level

Undergraduate level entry requirements

Preliminary year (year one)

Students holding the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Intermediate Certificate are normally required to begin from Year 1 entry.

Qualifying year (year two)

Students who have completed a three- or four-year bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution may be considered for direct Year 2 entry.

Students taking A levels or the IB should refer to our online international qualification sections.

Students taking APs or SATs should refer to entry requirements for the USA.

Postgraduate level entry requirements

Applicants should hold a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in Bangladesh, equivalent to at least a UK Upper Second Class (2:1). The guidance below provides an overview of typical minimum requirements:
