International applicants

Undergraduate level entry requirements

Preliminary year (year one)

Students holding the Svidetel'stvo o Srednem Obrazovanii / Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Grade 11) are normally required to begin at Year 1 entry.

Qualifying year (year two)

Applicants from Azerbaijan who have completed one or two years of study at a recognised higher education institution may be considered for Year 2 entry, typically with grades in the range of 3 to 5.

Students taking A levels or the IB should refer to our online international qualification sections.

Students taking APs or SATs should refer to the entry requirements for the USA.

Postgraduate level entry requirements

Applicants should hold a Specialist Diploma or a bachelor’s degree of a good academic standard from a recognised university, usually in a relevant field.

Entry requirements for qualifications from Azerbaijani universities may vary depending on the institution attended and the programme applied for. As general guidance, we consider the equivalent of a UK Upper Second Class (2:1) degree.
