The United Nations Global Compact has officially released its report, Innovate Forward: SDG Innovation Guidance and Example Practices from China. The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) served as the exclusive knowledge-supporting partner, contributing throughout the report’s development and providing academic expertise in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The report consolidates the organisation’s core guidance developed over the past three years at the intersection of sustainable development and business innovation. It also presents practical case studies from companies operating in China. Featured examples include sustainable innovation initiatives undertaken by Xiamen Airlines, JD.com and Lenovo, demonstrating how enterprises across multiple sectors are exploring effective pathways to address pressing sustainability challenges.
