On 11 January, the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) Sci-Tech and Industrial Innovation Alliance was officially established.
The Alliance will focus on scientific and technological innovation, research commercialisation, industrial incubation and talent development, fostering closer alignment between the University’s research strengths and the needs of local industry.
Under the overall guidance of the University, the Sci-Tech and Industrial Innovation Alliance is a collaborative innovation platform jointly initiated by Ningbo Nottingham Technology Co., Ltd., the University’s research commercialisation arm, and Twelve Coordinates Technology Services (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., together with leading industry enterprises, market-oriented science and technology investment capital, and professional service institutions. Through the operation of the Alliance, partners will engage in long-term cooperation in areas including joint project development, resource sharing, co-incubation, industrial integration and capital matchmaking, with a view to establishing a more stable and efficient model of collaborative innovation.
